We (the collective authors) are releasing three books into the wild, just in time to roam the lands this Halloween season, and beyond! These volumes are each a collection of horror tales and each includes two classics (including Lovecraft, Chambers, Irving, Polidori, Jacobs, and James.) The initial concept for this work was “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, but intended for a grown-up audience.”
Here’s what makes this special: the Hardcover Edition is not available anywhere else online, and it won’t be. Amazon? Nope. B&N? Nada. We at TreeShaker Books are very pro-author. These hardcovers will only be available by purchasing them author-direct. Buying directly from authors is the single best way to support them as artists (and YES, every participating author gets a cut of this crowdfunder, and the books’ back matter allows you to connect with individual writers and get more from their websites!)
The books are also “expandable.” By that, I mean that the Hardcover version will be upgraded as we meet different stretch goals. The first upgrade will be to add a dust jacket to the book. Additional upgrades will be available at higher levels, allowing for different options such as improved paper and inks and metallic red foil on the covers of the hardcover trilogy sets.
