“Supply And Demand” (2004)
In sonic terms, “Supply And Demand” is thicc af. It’s denser than lead, to the point where it starts to fall apart; it could probably use a good mastering, but I’m not about to go about figuring that out for a thirteen year old song. It’s also one of many tracks I did in the run-up to the Bush-Kerry 2004 U.S. election.
It sounds a little mushy but I love it, particularly the straining-to-slay-everything-in-range lead synth and the somewhat melodic Apple Talk voice that I used to death in the mid-Oughts. The resolution back into the main riff at the end of each sequence has also been a recurring favourite piece of mine.
