Some Notes:

I made this using a synthesized clone of my own voice, created using Corentin Jemine’s SV2TTS Toolbox. In essence it is a machine learning algorithm that applies new audio data to a pre-trained learning apparatus; you feed the machine your voice and it does a halfway decent job of mimicking you. It’s funny, I don’t like my voice even when speaking; I find that the recordings I fed the algorithm make me cringe, but the synthesized voice sounds right. Maybe it’s because I started making electronic music using speech-to-text synths that were fine for making it sound like robots were rapping or singing into the void. Maybe it’s because I can only really express myself through layers of irony, double meaning, and noise. One of the two, probably.

This track also contains a sample of “Marceau” by Guilherme Coutinho E O Groupo Stalo (1978).

Oh and that really uncomfortable horror movie thing that runs underneath it is what happened when I fed the machine six full Bjork acapellas and let it read the liner notes.
